So now they are all excited to see what 'Santa' brings. Every year they are still going to write letters to Santa and be good because 'Santa' can still say no if you are bad. Plus they know that we always get them a few standard things every year (PJ's for Xmas eve) and socks and undies. We also try to get them 1 toy/item that they have asked for. Everything else is from Santa (same with the stockings). I think this Christmas is going to be the best yet just because they know now.

The Truth
Well, as most of you know the job market has hit us HARD! We are slowly starting to recover now that I am back at work but it is still hard, as it is with many families in our same situation. Christmas is going to be small this year, so we thought long and hard and decided to tell the boys the truth about Santa Clause (Ash figured it out a few years ago). They took it REALLY well. I expected tears from Tyler and a little bit of Anger from Brady but it went SO well. We told them that once there was a real Santa Clause who did take gifts to children and that now it's a tradition for parents to do the same for their children. We called it the 'Big Secret'. They aren't allowed to tell anyone because other's might not know yet. They seemed really excited to be in on the fun, just like Ashley was a few years ago.
